I love pie but I am a pie snob, which means, I do not like store bought dough or canned pie filling. And please, if you are making me an apple pie, whatever you do, do not use nutmeg. On the other hand, if you are making me a cherry pie, use a little extra tapioca so the juice is not runny. You are probably thinking if she is that particular she should make a pie herself. I love pie but I am a pie snob, which means, I do not like store bought dough or canned pie filling. And please, if you are making me an apple pie, whatever you do, do not use nutmeg. ReplyDeleteI always (yes, always) make the crust from scratch! I just started using tapioca this year (DH wasn't sure he liked it that way, UNTIL I convinced him)...might have to get out to the orchard today to pick up more apples....
I LOVE this pie!!!! This is such a sweet card! You know, I have two favorite types of pie.....hot and cold! :)
