You Brighten My Life

I wanted to play along with the current Lawnscaping Challenge: Texture sponsored by Lawn Fawn so I decided to create an island in the ocean with surf, sand, and sunshine! To get things started I applied some Be Creative (Sookwang) double-stick tape to a scrap of kraft paper and die cut a sand mound and the bucket and shovel using the Life is Good Lawn Cuts.  After it was cut, I removed the liner paper from the tape and applied sand to both pieces.  I used one of the dies from the Stitched Scalloped Borders Lawn Cuts turned upside down and covered with glossy accents for my surf.  The sunshine is from Spring Showers Lawn Cuts and the bucket with shovel and the sentiment are from the Lawn Fawn Life is Good stamp set, all tied together with Lawn Trimmings Coral Single Cord onto the Stitched Party Banners Lawn Cuts!

It's Beer:30

I've been playing, can you tell! To create my card I started by white embossing Seeing Dots from The Alley Ways Stamps and added distress stains to complete the background.  The sentiment, beer glass die cut and stamp is part of the Simon Says Stamp Set Cocktail Hour, This is the Life! Please take note that no beer was hurt by the making of this card!

Strongo the Manificent

Dr. Digi's House of Stamps super handsome Strongo the Magnificent, is out of sorts today since he is neither strong nor magnificent! In fact, he is quite weak, unable to keep his feet on the ground while holding balloons at a children's party.  Hopefully, Strongo won't get too much closer to the sun before his balloons burst! Have a safe landing Strongo!

Cheer

Welcome to a new Squigglefly Challenge that starts today hosted by Holley's Hobbyists! This week's challenge is to include a charm somewhere on your card.  It can be a real jewelry charm, a die cut of a charm or a sticker.  To create my card I used Cheer by Squigglefly artist, James Horvath, and since I didn't have a charm suitable for a cheerleader, I made one from cardstock and silver embossed it several times.  If you look closely, you can see it is also engraved! So use a charm on your card and if you use a Squigglefly image, you might be chosen as the winner!

Keep Off the Grass

About the only good reason not to walk the dog aside from freezing rain, snow, or a thunderstorm, is that dogs, as much as we love them, cannot read unless it says f-o-o-d! Keep Off the Grass by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps proves my point! Never leave home with your pup unless you have a bag in case of an emergency!

Without You a Piece is Missing

I am more than happy to be back today with a second card as the Guest Designer for the Be Inspired Challenge #55! To complete my card I used elements from Pieces and Petal Pushers stamp sets by The Alley Way Stamps! And oh my goodness, have you seen the sneak peeks of the new stamp sets that are about to be released by The Alley Way Stamps?  I'm pretty sure I want each new set!

Once again I would like to thank everyone at the Be Inspired Challenge and the folks at The Alley Way Stamps for having me as your guest this month.  It has been such a pleasure!
