Tangled

Welcome aboard Dude Time Doodles' October 50% Off Anniversary Blog Hop showcasing some of the Christmas images on sale starting today and running through November 13! For my card I used poor helpless Tangled by Marlene! If you're following along the hop, you should have arrived from Mags' blog and your next stop is to visit Dawn. Don't forget to leave a comment as you go along, your comment might make you the winner of a free image from Dude Time Doodles!

Bat Cat

This is my last post for Halloween 2012! Sad but true, the fun season of ghosts, goblins and witches is almost over. My card today features Bat Cat a super fun Halloween image from Pricilla Styles. I'm guessing by the expression on the cat's face that he's absolutely exhausted and too full of tasty mice treats to move!

I Love You Ole Pal

Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals are the hosts for the new Squigglefly challenge that starts today so be sure to check the challenge blog for all the details. Since I am not on Rhonda's team, I get to create whatever I like and if you been around me, you know I like dogs! This wonderful image, I Love You Ole Pal, is by Squigglefly's amazing artist, Lynne Stansbery and she's captured what most dog-lovers feel. The sentiment is part of a quote by Gene Hill and turned into a free sentiment by Squigglefly's superglue, Holly! Thanks Holly!

Beelzebozo

Look at that belly! Its full of candy and he's on the prowl for more! Beelzebozo is one of Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' Halloween images and although he looks mean, he's only hungry! His mommy has him on a diet and that makes him grumpy. Otherwise, he's a happy-go-lucky critter who just happens to be purple!

Fangfully

Halloween is just around the corner and so is Fangfully, one of Just Inklined's new Halloween images! Count Dracula thinks no one will recognize him wearing a powdered wig and pilgrim shoes as a disguise. So when you go out in the dark, keep looking over your shoulder and don't forget to wear a garlic necklace!

My sweet friend safely returned from her trip to Paris and Rome with a gorgeous silk scarf for me which "Absolutely" called for a thank you card!

The Great Punkin

Have you noticed that October has five Wednesdays? Because of the extra Wednesday, Dude Time Doodles does not have a challenge this week but that doesn't mean we don't have something to show you.  My card today features the The Great Punkin a new image from Bonibleaux Designs. For a special treat, please visit Dude Time Doodles and see what wonderful creations the design team, former designers and guest designers have waiting for you!

Everyone should take time to watch the leaves turn

Something that I struggle with as a card designer is finding appropriate sentiments for what I'm creating but I recently found incredible word art at DesignerDigitals. The sentiment I used on today's card is from Fall Word Art No. 01 Brushes and Stamps. I love the sentiments that are included in this collection but I do need to get a better handle on sizing and placement.

Polly and her Pumpkin

The week passed so quickly it's hard to believe it is Monday again but yep, it is and that means Squigglefly has a new challenge starting today hosted by Holley's Hobbyists! This week you have a choice, either choose any or all of your favorite fall colors, or pick a fall theme such as falling leaves, pumpkins, Halloween, or Thanksgiving. For my card I used the new Cheryl Alger image, Polly and her Pumpkin available at Squigglefly. So before all the leaves have blown away, color up a fall theme card and share it with us at Squigglefly. Remember, the winner must use a Squigglefly image and if you don't have one, check out their freebies!

Uriah the Undertaker

Have you read the headlines? Dr. Digi's House of Stamps has started his very own blog, with a full-fledged design team and your's truly is thrilled to announce that I have been invited to join the team!

For today's card I used Uriah the Undertaker, one of Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' super fun
Halloween images and proceeded to make him a little hideaway that he can call his own and that he would feel most at home in. His only complaint is that there is no bar!

Uriah the Undertaker is pleased with his new accommodations and said no one has ever
 been so thoughtful!

Forgive the paperclips, they keep the doors closed while Uriah gets his rest!
Please be a good sport and stop by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps Blog and become a follower! The design team member that gets the most followers wins a new car!

Frank

The adorable Frank from Just Inklined is feeling poorly after being out all night looking for a proper laundry that would not shrink or shred his clothes! The fun sentiment is from the free word art sheet that the amazing Jak Heath has created for her online friends and can be found here!

Stella - Birthday Reaper

I must admit that it will take someone with an extra special sense of humor to enjoy what Stella - Birthday Reaper from Bugaboo Digital Stamps has to say about another birthday, but I must also admit that I agree with her!

And speaking of Dude Time Doodles, today launches a new challenge, Halloween! Please check it out for all the details and while you are at it, be sure to pay a visit to the Dude and the Dudettes to see what inspiration they have waiting for you!

Angry Monster

Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals are hosting the new challenge that starts today at Squigglefly, so be sure to visit for all the details. Meanwhile, Squigglefly's artist Denise Clemmensen has created the cute Angry Monster for use throughout the year and not just at Halloween! Angry Monster is a great image to convey any message to friends and family.  I took approximately 3 zillion pictures of this card and not one of them shows the sparkle and shine of the monster's glittered body!

Mummy Dearest

Dr. Digi's House of Stamps has several new images just in time for Halloween and one of them is Mummy Dearest and as you might expected, he is mummy dearest's dearest's mummy! It's so sad though, it is estimated that he is over 400 years of age and he's still scared of his own shadow, just thinking about the dark gets him tied up in knots! All caution should be used if you see him since his dearest mummy is always watching!

Misfire

Once upon a time in a far off land, somewhere between hither and yonder, lived a ghastly witch, a gorgeous princess that was beautiful to look at, had a very shapely body and amazing musical skills. As you might guess, in a neighboring community lived a handsome prince that had been betrothed to the princess since a very young age. When the time came for the wedding, the fairy godmother that was to protect the lovely princess from evil spells, happened to be off on holiday at a resort that specialized in margaritas and martinis with two olives. Not wanting to interrupt her vacation the fairy godmother decided she could use her magical abilities from the spa where she was staying and proceeded to wave her wand and sprinkle fairy dust that would turn the witch into a toad and prevent her from harming the princess. Misfire from Just Inklined just so happens to be the very same fairy godmother who decided to mix business with pleasure. Seems when she sprinkled the fairy dust, it fell into her margarita and when she drank it she turned into the toad. So the moral of the story is never mix business with pleasure, just keep it at pleasure!

Tyler Tailback

For those of us who have no clue what a tailback is, I checked the dictionary to find out that it is the football player in the position furtherest from the line of scrimmage. I didn't bother to find out what the line of scrimmage was since those of you that enjoy the game already know what it is and those that aren't interested in football, don't care!  But it does seem to me that Tyler Tailback is so far away from where he's supposed to be he's not even playing! Tyler Tailback is this month's freebie for Dude Time Doodles' Guest Designer / Freebie Challenge that starts today! Be sure to grab him while you can and join the fun!

Stewart

A new challenge is up and running at Papelotis Stamps and the challenge is one we all love, Anything Goes! For my card I used the poor dear Stewart from Papelotis Stamps who was last seen trick or treating and sadly, he's lost his way! Not only is he lost but he also misplaced his bag full of candy that he managed to collect! If you happen to see Stewart, please, please be kind and show him the way to go home, I'm sure he's tired and he wants to go to bed! Keep your fingers crossed that the batteries in his skull light keep working!

Baby in Tutu (Coming and Going)

Front of card

I hope you enjoyed Squigglefly's blog hop we held to help introduce you to some of the new images released on Saturday. But since it's Monday, that means its back to the business of a new Squigglefly challenge being hosted by Holley's Hobbyists! The new challenge is to use a specialty paper somehow, somewhere on your card! For my card, I paper pieced yellow vellum on the super adorable image  Baby in Tutu (Coming and Going) by Squigglefly's amazing artist, Fawn Palmer! Don't forget to use a Squigglefly image to be eligible to win the prize!

Headsman Heathcliffe

Headsman Heathcliffe from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps has had difficulty maintaining the family business of  beheading condemned prisoners since he dropped his ax and the doomed jailbird escaped. So Heathcliffe spends his days hiding in the pumpkin patch and continues to practice his skills by carving jack-o'-lanterns!  He does have a plan though, if he's not employed by Thanksgiving, he intends to go to the mall and apply for the position of Santa Claus!

Always Do Your Own Thing

Please scroll down to see Just Inklined's card for today.

Some of the members of Squigglefly's design team decided to hold a sneak peek blog hop today featuring the new images that will be released tomorrow!  If you've been hopping along, you've arrived from Shirley's blog, if you just stopped by, go back to Squigglefly's Challenge blog and start from the beginning so you don't miss out on the opportunity to win prizes along the way!

For my card, I used Always Do Your Own Thing by Squigglefly's outstanding artist, Lynne Stansbery!   Lynne's makes it so easy for crafters since she always takes the guesswork out of where the shadows are in her images.

Your next stop in the hop is to see what Debbie has waiting for  you!  In case you get lost along the way, the entire blog list is below!

Toffee Apples

I hope your mouth starts watering after seeing the yummy delicious looking Toffee Apples, one of Just Inklined's new releases! Of course if you have false teeth or lots of fillings in your mouth you might want to avoid taking a big mouthful!

Autumn Breeze

Fall brings wonderful inspiration to start the crafting season that will continue into the new year!  For my card, I began with PaperTemptress beautiful Copper Metallic Glossy cardstock that I embossed then added the gorgeous Hambly Studio’s Antique White Autumn overlay to complete the background. Using more Copper Metallic Glossy cardstock, I cut and embossed a tag then added leaves cut from Olive Brown Bag cardstock with touches of distress ink to make them appear as they’d just fallen from the tree creating a beautiful fall card, perfect for this time of year!

Axel Lumberjack

Today starts Dude Time Doodle's First Wednesday Challenge which is Home Improvement - time with the tool man!  For my card, I used Axel Lumberjack from Bonibleaux Designs, a serious dude that considers himself a professional in the home improvement business! Unfortunately for Axel, he is actually thought to be a one-man wrecking crew! But since Axel is super friendly, works cheap and is very good at tearing down, you might want to consider contacting him for your next demolition! Now it's your turn to play along with Dude Time Doodles and show us your card featuring a busy dude sharping his home improvement skills! And don't forget to visit the Dude and the Dudettes for more inspiration!

Dracula

I am so pleased to announce that I have joined the design team of Papelitos Stamps and my card share today is the first challenge that I am participating in as a designer! The challenge is to use flowers so I used the debonair Dracula from Papelitos Stamps. Now just because he has a 'do not enter' sign on his door, it's not because he's unfriendly, quite the contrary, he's very friendly but we interrupted him just as he was getting up for the night and was dressing! We came very close to seeing him without his toupee and false teeth!
