My youngest daughter loves, loves July. It's her birthday month and aside from her mother's birthday, the 4th of July is her favorite holiday. This July is marred by tragedy for my daughter with the news of the sudden unexplained death of her dear friend. Unfortunately, because my daughter is living in Okinawa, Japan she cannot get home for her friend's services nor can she get some extra mommy-love for comfort. The best I can do is to post a card and let her know that she is loved.
To make this card, I used Laser Silver Glossy Lustre for the base of the card and embossed Retro Silver Lustre with black to create the sentiment and part of the medallion. My camera and photography skills do not give a true picture of the pearl-like radiance, striking textured finish and the holograph effect of this beautiful cardstock from the PaperTemptress.
Lovely card!
