Farewell Dude Time Doodles

Today is the day that the Dude and the Dudettes have been dreading, our last post as a team for the lively gents at Dude Time Doodles. But we're going out in style with a blog hop and four new images. My card features Twas the Night Before, a good little guy the day before Christmas but an absolute terror the remaining 364 days of the year!  If you've been following the hop you should have arrived from Anne's blog and your next stop is to visit Sharon. On a personal note to the team, you're the best and I have loved working and getting to know each of you. I thank you for your ongoing support and inspiration. I hope someday we will all be together again until then, it was a helluva party!

We With You a Merry Chrithmus

Since Dude Time Doodles is closing its doors on December 15, today starts the last challenge! As you might expect judging by the calendar the challenge is Happy Holidays!   For my card I used We With You a Merry Chrithmus. Woozer! I don't know about you but it's difficult for me to wrap my head around the fact that Thanksgiving is next week! But that's what the calendar says so it must be true! To celebrate the big day, Dude Time Doodles is offering both Patty and Paul Pilgrims as this month's freebies so don't delay, get them both today!

Heath Hunter

Today begins November's First Wednesday Challenge at Dude Time Doodles and the challenge is to make a card for a dude using Fall Colors! Heath Hunter from Bonibleaux Designs is featured on today's card! So just in case you're out in the woods, be careful! Heath Hunter is out and about, toting a gun and worse yet, it's loaded! At least Heath is being smart by wearing a safety-orange hat so he's not mistaken for the turkey that he is!

Have you noticed that October has five Wednesdays? Look who's in the laboratory today mixing up a fun concoction, it's Franklin Stein one of the newest members of the Dude Time Doodles family! Tyler Tailback

For those of us who have no clue what a tailback is, I checked the dictionary to find out that it is the football player in the position furtherest from the line of scrimmage. I didn't bother to find out what the line of scrimmage was since those of you that enjoy the game already know what it is and those that aren't interested in football, don't care!  But it does seem to me that Tyler Tailback is so far away from where he's supposed to be he's not even playing! Tyler Tailback is this month's freebie for Dude Time Doodles' Guest Designer / Freebie Challenge that starts today! Be sure to grab him while you can and join the fun!

Headsman Heathcliffe

Headsman Heathcliffe from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps has had difficulty maintaining the family business of  beheading condemned prisoners since he dropped his ax and the doomed jailbird escaped. So Heathcliffe spends his days hiding in the pumpkin patch and continues to practice his skills by carving jack-o'-lanterns!  He does have a plan though, if he's not employed by Thanksgiving, he intends to go to the mall and apply for the position of Santa Claus!

Axel Lumberjack

Today starts Dude Time Doodle's First Wednesday Challenge which is Home Improvement - time with the tool man!  For my card, I used Axel Lumberjack from Bonibleaux Designs, a serious dude that considers himself a professional in the home improvement business! Unfortunately for Axel, he is actually thought to be a one-man wrecking crew! But since Axel is super friendly, works cheap and is very good at tearing down, you might want to consider contacting him for your next demolition! Now it's your turn to play along with Dude Time Doodles and show us your card featuring a busy dude sharping his home improvement skills! Where's Willy

Poor Willy, he gets lost trying to find his lunch in his lunchbox but recently his sweetheart talked him into driving her three states away to visit her sister. Willy plotted the route and they were all set to go except for one fact, his sweetheart forgot to tell him that her mother would be driving with them and in fact, she would sit in the front seat and be the navigator! The trip went smoothly all the way to the end of the driveway and then it happened, they were lost and they hadn't even picked up mother! Better luck next trip Willy!

Nag Nag Nag

There are so many studies and opinions as to what is the most common cause of divorce and the answer is rather simple and does not required research. The chief cause of divorce is marriage! I mean really, how easy is that? Maybe I should seriously consider charging for all the knowledge that I have stored in the grey cells!
