Vellum and Copics

I love using vellum on my cards and I especially like using Heavy Duty Clear Vellum from the Papertress.com.  For my card today I white embossed the front of the vellum and then I colored the back of the vellum with copics.  All that was left to do was to adhere the vellum to Pop Tones 100# Cotton Candy cardstock from the PaperTemptress.com!

Totally Inspired

In case you are wondering, I was totally inspired by the gorgeous card that Julie Ebersole posted for The Classroom, why change perfection! The only difference in our cards is I used Heavenly White cardstock as the base with similar colors of Pop Tones 65# cardstock from the PaperTemptress.com, a different die and sentiment!

Glimmer and Sparkle

My card today features Juniper Berry Glimmer cardstock and Heavy Duty Clear Vellum from PaperTemptress.com.  The butterfly was die cut from Eclipse Black cardstock and lots of glitter was added.  Simple design, easy to create but stunning results!

Wild Cherry and Sour Apple

My card today features cardstock from The PaperTemptress.  I started with Heavenly White Premium Ultrasmooth cardstock as my base and then using masks I repeatedly stamped two different sizes of flowers.  Next I die cut Pop Tones 65# Wild Cherry for the flower and Sour Apple for the leaves and sentiment then pronounced it done!

Cryogen White and Pan Pastel

There is nothing difficult about making today's card! I started out with Cryogen White Cardstock from The PaperTemptress then inked up a background stamp with Versamark and smeared pan pastels over it and bam, the background was done! I felt guilty about it being so easy so I cut a piece of Heavy Duty Clear Vellum cardstock into a little banner, heat embossed a sentiment and that was it!

Brown Bag

To create today's card I started with Neenah Desert Storm (Kraft) cardstock as the base and added a background of Blueberry Brown Bag then with the help of a stencil and white embossing paste, added the dragonflies. The focal dragonfly was made using a die and Oliver Brown Bag and Ice Jade Vellum. All the cardstock used is from one of my favorite places to shop, The PaperTemptress!

Vellum and Heavenly White

What do you get when you mix Heavy Duty 48# Clear Vellum, Heavenly White Premium Ultra Smooth and Black cardstock from the PaperTemptress, and then throw in a little black embossing powder, a stencil, embossing paste, glitter and a die?  You get today's card! Add a pretty butterfly and you're done!

Eclipse Black and Gold

Here is a recipe for a very simple card, measure a piece of RC Eclipse Black 100# cardstock to fit the front of your card and dry embossed it for texture.  Also cut an extra piece to stamp, cut and gold emboss flowers and a sentiment. For a touch of dramatics, cut a circle from Laser Gold Glossy Lustre cardstock. Once these steps are completed assemble the card, give it to the intended recipient and then wait for the smile! Be sure you use cardstock from the PaperTemptress for the very best results!

Mod Circles

My card today is the result of playtime with one of the Hambly 6x6 screenprints, Mod Circles, and the fabulous Razzleberry 100# Pop Tones cardstock from the PaperTemptress. A touch of black from the scrap bin and an embossed sentiment, super quick but loaded with eye appeal!

Enjoy the Ride

To create today's card I started with layering weight Pop Tones #65 Cotton Candy cardstock from the PaperTemptress and added a layer of Pink Mini Bicycles from the Hambly Overlays #3 paper pack also from the PaperTemptress!  I used different colors of the 65# layering cardstock to create the sentiment, bicycle, flowers, leaves and butterflies.

All White Elegance

I think my card is very elegant but very easy to create. I started with Heavenly White 100# cardstock from the PaperTemptress for the card base and used a die to create a window and then dry embossed Heavy Duty Clear Vellum also from the PaperTemptress to cover the opening. Next using the same vellum I stamped the sentiment, the poinsettia and leaves twice and then white embossed them. Once they were cooled I cut a few of the petals apart and curled them to add dimension before layering them with the leaves. To complete the card I added pearls to its center.

Grape Jelly Christmas

Sometimes the most unusual can turn into wonderful results! For a nontraditional Christmas card I started with PaperTemptress' gorgeous Pop Tone 54# Grape Jelly cardstock combined with a banner made from Heavenly White 100# Extended Archival cardstock, then added pretty snowflakes and a touch of bling, the results are surprising and striking!

Midnight Blue Christmas

This time of year we are all gearing up to make holiday cards and my card today is an excellent example of cards that can be mass produced. The other option that would make it easier would be to use white ink instead of white embossing. My choice of RC 100# Midnight Blue cardstock from the PaperTemptress offers all the qualities you want for your cards especially its beautiful color. 

Brown Bag

Today's card is the result of playtime with PaperTemptress' brown bag cardstock, with the exception of Desert Storm (kraft) cardstock that I used for the base of the card and tag. The colors I used to create my little town and its gigantic tree are Blueberry, Cranberry and Olive brown bag cardstock.

Green Crepe and Gold Woodgrain

Today's card features PaperTemptress goodness! Using black I heat embossed a tree on Hambly Studio Gold Woodgrain and mounted it on gorgeous Green Crepe. I added another strip of the Gold Woodgrain then stamped a sentiment on Green Crepe. Easy to make with wonderful results!

Rainbow Butterfly

After I watched Jennifer McGuire Ink's video creating a die cut inlay card it occurred to me that it would be a wonderful way to showcase the rainbow of Pop Tones 65# colors available at the PaperTemptress! Each strip of cardstock is ¼ inch wide so it's a great way to use up those scraps! 

Deep Blue Crepe Ruche

My card today features the beautiful Deep Blue Crepe Ruche 80# cardstock from the PaperTemptress! The color is absolutely gorgeous and the texture begs to be touched! The card base is Laser White Glossy Lustre 80# cardstock and the fern and frame is embossed Heavenly White Premium Ultrasmooth cardstock, all available at PaperTemptress! 

Heavenly White and Retro Gold Glossy Lustre

Besides featuring gorgeous cardstock from the PaperTempress, my card today also features my new favorite crafting "stuff" (strictly a technique term), Frantage by Stampendous! The base of my card is Retro Gold Glossy Lustre cardstock. I die cut Heavenly White 100# cardstock and embossed the cut and a strip with Aged Aqua Embossing Enamel (Frantage). After it cooled, I replaced the die cut from where it had been cut and adhered it to the base along with the embossed strip, added a few gold whatnots (a Pennsylvania Dutch technical term) and the card was done!

Dianthus, Burgundy and Vellum

For my card today I printed the beautiful Dianthus from Janey's Digi Designs on my all-time favorite, go-to Cryogen White cardstock from The PaperTemptress and colored it with watercolors! I cut out a window from RC 100# Burgundy cardstock that I used for the card base and replaced it with a piece of dry embossed Heavy Duty Clear Vellum.  Rather easy card to put together thanks to The PaperTempress and Janey's Digi Designs!

Berrylicious and Vellum

Today's card is pretty simple to create using Pop Tones 65# Berrylicious cardstock and Heavy Duty Clear Vellum from The PaperTemptress! I first stamped the image onto the cardstock and then I stamped two pieces of vellum and adhered them all together. The sentiment and corners were added to complete the card. Easy as 1-2-3!
