Cherry Blossom
I am so very happy to be back and doing what I love, making cards! For my card today I used the beautiful Cherry Blossom from Just Inklined.
Thank you for your wonderful cards and caring comments. It's a been a long haul but I am able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I've been using the walker less and less and at last I can manage to go up and down the stairs. All of my crafting goodies live in the basement and when I was finally able to visit them and have a play, it was like Christmas! I still have a hard time sitting but I am definitely on the mend and very thankful!

Hangover Hannah
Two days after being wined and dined for Valentine's Day, Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, delicate Hangover Hannah is still not recovered! Of course, the two pounds of chocolate she ate yesterday hasn't helped!

Chicken Soup
When I first saw Chicken Soup from Hambo Stamps, I couldn't help but laugh out loud! If you know me even a little bit, you know that not only do I hate to cook, but I can't cook! No doubt in my mind if I made a pot of chicken soup for a friend, they wouldn't open the door!

Man Flu
Really, is there anything more pitiful than a sick man? Yes, if that man happens to be Man Flu from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps! But no fear, Man Flu is only suffering from over indulgence of the fruit of the vine and not with the ailment that's he's convinced he has!

KO Kevin
Oh for goodness sake! Will Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' famous champ, KO Kevin, ever learn? The night before the welterweight championship match, Kevin's lovely wife, hoping for a compliment, ask him, "do these jeans make my butt look big?" Being an honest Joe, he answered "yes dear" and so she socked him right in the kisser! Next time Kevin, for goodness sake, say, "no dear, not at all dear, they look wonderful" and you will be able to see your opponent's fist coming right at you!

Angry Monster
Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals are hosting the new challenge that starts today at Squigglefly, so be sure to visit for all the details. Meanwhile, Squigglefly's artist Denise Clemmensen has created the cute Angry Monster for use throughout the year and not just at Halloween! Angry Monster is a great image to convey any message to friends and family. I took approximately 3 zillion pictures of this card and not one of them shows the sparkle and shine of the monster's glittered body!

Axel Lumberjack
Today starts Dude Time Doodle's First Wednesday Challenge which is Home Improvement - time with the tool man! For my card, I used Axel Lumberjack from Bonibleaux Designs, a serious dude that considers himself a professional in the home improvement business! Unfortunately for Axel, he is actually thought to be a one-man wrecking crew! But since Axel is super friendly, works cheap and is very good at tearing down, you might want to consider contacting him for your next demolition! Now it's your turn to play along with Dude Time Doodles and show us your card featuring a busy dude sharping his home improvement skills! And don't forget to visit the Dude and the Dudettes for more inspiration!

Dandelions
Seems to me a dandelion is a weed that everyone works to keep out of their yards. My late grandfather, a professional florist, once told me that a rose in a field of dandelions is a weed. I think he was trying to tell me that it all depends on how we look at things. You know, one man's junk is another man's treasure.
I am showing you two versions of a stamp of dandelions once they have gone to seed. Remember the kind you picked as a child and blew on while making a wish. I always think of my grandfather when I see a dandelion.
Thanks for looking.
