Playing with UTEE

I felt the urge to play with Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel. I like the cracked results from placing the pears in the freezer for ten minutes after embossing but I would love to know the secret of how to get ink into the cracks. Regardless, I know the recipient will be pleased to receive the card and bookmark.

I am very happy to report that my blog was one of the mystery blogs of the Just Inklined Blog Hop yesterday. June Nelson of the United Kingdom, please contact me so arrangements can be made for you to receive your image. My email address is at the top of my blog in the sidebar. And thank you all for your wonderful comments that you left for dear ole' Archie Butterthwaite.

  1. Gorgeous tag - those pears look amazing. I normally use Distress Ink to get into the cracks, just squish over the image and then wipe off. x

  6. Lovely! No secret Tammy - just rub some ink on there with a sponge and wipe the top with a kleenex to remove ink from the surface. I've even used shoe polish instead of ink for a darker look.
