Poor guy, he was aiming for The Fairway and for some unexplainable reason, his ball took the wrong turn and landed in the sand, not good! The Fairway is from Just Inklined and is one of many amazing images available for the gents!

Joey Three Fingers
Joey Three Fingers from Bonibleaux Designs has decided to spend a little quality time in the ocean. Unfortunately, you can barely see his legs or the stylist rubber fins he's wearing because the water is so rough from the hurricane. Good thing Joey has enough sense to wear a life preserver to make sure he stays afloat. The bad news is that this big bad boy forgot to remove his cell phone from the pocket of his swimming trunks!
Joey Three Fingers is one of the new characters joining the Dude Time Doodles' family and the design team is having a blog hop so you can meet all the new members. You should have arrived from Sharon's blog and your next stop is to see Mags. If you are just starting, keep jumping and eventually you will visit each of the design team members. Be sure to leave comments since one of us is the mystery host and will be giving a free image to the lucky commenter.

Head of the House
The delightful image, Head of the House from Squigglefly, is so simple to create with that it's probably not legal! The image is part of a set that also includes the silhouette of a dog, plus paw prints and of course the funny sentiment!

Tomorrow is the first day of school in our area. Coincidentally, Holley's Hobbyists are hosting this week's challenge at Squigglefly and there are two choices for the theme, School or Fall! I paper pieced Patchwork Apple by Squigglefly's artist, Fawn Palmer, for my card and if the mailman cooperates, it will be in the mailbox waiting for my twin-granddaughters when they arrive home from their first day of first grade!
Now it is your turn to show us your School of Fall card. Remember, to win the challenge, you must use a Squigglefly image and if you don't have one, try one of their freebies!

I'd like to introduce you to my good friend, Anglin Andy from Doctor Digi's House of Stamps, a jovial fellow who enjoys fishing! Every Saturday afternoon Andy dresses in his gear, grabs his rod and tackle and heads to the local pub, completely bypassing the river. Before Andy leaves, he always plants a kiss on his wife's cheek and tells her he'll be back with dinner! When Andy is out of sight, the Mrs. phones the butcher and orders the biggest catch of the day. True to form, several hours later, Andy stops at the butcher's before returning home with a big fish, a smile on his face and a lie on his lips about the big one that got away!

Paper Temptress and Stella Friends - Wine Alone
I am a dedicated user of Cryogen White cardstock from The PaperTemptress when it comes to printing digital images and applying color. Proof is in the pudding as they say so I printed the ever lovable, Stella Friends - Wine Alone from Bugaboo Stamps on Cryogen and colored it with Bic Markers that I purchased at the grocery store! I embossed RC #100 Burgundy cardstock for the background and framed the image on RC#100 Iron Ore cardstock. And just for the record, I am a firm believer that Friends don't let Friends wine alone!

It's not everyday that we discuss "booby traps" and guess what, it's not going to be today! The Inspiration Challenge that starts today at Dude Time Doodles is "You Push My Buttons" and I couldn't help myself, or maybe my evil twin decided to use Corset II from Bonibleaux Designs for my card and buttoned it up! Buttons are very popular as embellishments so this challenge should be easy just remember to make it for a dude! Be sure to see what the rest of Dude Time Doodles design team has created and then play along!

Meet Derek's father, Ambrose Dunderton from Doctor Digi's House of Stamps! Ambrose enjoys his role as the patriarch of the Dunderton clan and is proud to be a retired clam digger, although he is still able to identify what region of the world a clam is from by counting the rings on its shell blindfolded. As a senior citizen, Ambrose enjoys several hobbies including collecting vintage girlie magazines, taste testing each new bottle of whiskey opened at the local pub and raising mushrooms for the little fairies to sit upon. Even with such varied interests, Ambrose decided to settle down and started placing personal ads in the local newspaper looking for that special someone to share his time or perhaps, keep it for him!

A Christmas Fish
As shocking as it may seem to dog and cat lovers, there are people who prefer the tranquil quality that fish provide! I personally do not know such a person but I can tell you that a goldfish dressed as Santa Claus makes a fun card for the holidays just like A Christmas Fish from Just Inklined does although you must listen very closely to hear it say Ho-Ho-Ho, Merry Christmas!

Since there are five Wednesdays this month, the Dude Time Doodles design team has today off but we will be back next week with this month's Inspiration Challenge. Instead of not posting, I decided to look back and share the first card that I made as a member of the Dude Time Doodles design team and I was delighted to see Sammy Scarecrow is still outstanding in his field!

My young friends, the newlyweds, recently moved into to their first home so naturally, a card was in order. Since their home is a studio apartment and I live in a white house, I'm not sure who lives in this house but I wish they would hang some curtains over their windows!

For Your Birthday
For Your Birthday is one of the new images from Squigglefly by Fawn Palmer. This sweet little gal also comes with two sentiments that are tucked inside my card. Squigglefly's challenge this week is hosted by Holley's Hobbyists and the object of the challenge is to use Three Layers on your card. To play along be sure to use a Squigglefly image to be eligible to win. If you don't have a Squigglefly image, check out their freebies! And for goodness sake, don't eat the cupcake she is handing you! She made the cupcakes herself and the directions on the box said two eggs so she dropped two eggs, shell and all into the batter. What? If I don't cook or bake, why would you expect the image on my card to do things any differently!

Derek and Deirdery Dunderton
Notice the mismatched expressions Derek and Deirdery Dunderton from Doctor Digi's House of Stamps have on their faces? Well, it's a very sad story but Derek is feeling a little befuddled and quite frankly miffed! Deirdery, on the other hand, is feeling quite pleased! As it turns out, Derek won a roundtrip, all expenses, paid cruise around the islands. Naturally Derek shared his happy news with Deirdery, omitting the fact that he would be traveling with the entire womens' volleyball league. Deirdery agreed that the trip would be good for Derek since he was looking a little tired and pinched, and in his absence, she would spend time with her mother. Derek went to sleep that night a very happy chap. Image his shock, horror and dismay when Deirdery explained during dinner the following evening that she had persuaded the cruise line to change Derek's ticket to the voyage the ladies' quilting guild was taking to the Arctic and that Deirdery and her mother would be traveling with him! Somedays it doesn't pay to get out of bed.

Women's' relationship with fashion was cemented in stone when the first cavewoman stepped out for the evening wearing an ankle-length sabertooth tiger sheath accessorized with tyrannosaurus shoes and matching bag. Today we still stop in front of shop windows to admire the array of pretty clothing in on display such as Spring Fashion, one of the newest images from Just Inklined.

Reversible Brown Bag
Today’s card is easy to create and remarkably handsome using cardstock and natural jute twine from the Paper Temptress! I combined strips of reversible Blueberry, Olive and Eggplant Brown Bag cardstock that I embossed in white. Next I tore the edges of Sandstone cardstock and adhered the strips to it except the corners. After each strip was securely in place, I folded back a corner, punched a hole and added a brad. Pieces of natural jute twine was added to enhance the separation of the cardstock. Super effortless but so tasteful, go ahead, give it a try!

I found I Forgot from Mo's Digital Pencil absolutely irresistible but since I am not the type of person that would admit I forgot, I used a more generic sentiment! Since Mo's Digital Challenge is anything goes, I plan to enter, if I remember!

Just Inklined to Hop
The first Monday of each month, one of the members of the wonderfully talented Just Inklined design team hosts a blog hop and challenges the team to create using the suggested theme. This month's hop is hosted by Jak and she asked the team to use two papers and three buttons. For my inspiration I used the beautiful Abigail from Just Inklined. I added a flap to the front of the card with a special touch when opened.
If you have been following along in the hop, you should have arrived from Joyce's blog and your next move is to Karen's blog. Be sure to leave a message at each stop since there are two hidden spot prizes.
Thank you for stopping and enjoy the hop!

Dish Cloth Dave
Dish Cloth Dave from Doctor Digi's House of Stamps is such a nice guy! He works all day at the family owned business his great-grandfather founded in 1902 manufacturing peashooters. Dave's job is sorting peas, a tedious but extremely satisfying position and he's only had one pea returned because it was bruised. Considering that Dave must separate five peas into a little bag, one bad pea is an excellent record! In the evening, because of Dave's lackluster profession, he looks forward to going home and engaging in a lively discussion about world politics with his wife and maybe a trip to the neighborhood pub for a few drafts with friends before retiring for the evening. Too bad that seven days a week his beloved has a headache and he is must prepare the meal, do the dishes and then maybe, he can walk to the pub provided he hasn't spend all of his allowance!

A new challenge starts today at Dude Time Doodles and you're invited to join the fun! This month's challenge is Travel, make a card for a dude with a travel theme.
