Happy Birthday

My youngest daughter recently had a birthday! If you know her, you know this card suits her well, she loves purple and sparkles! I love my fuse tool and I love my daughters, all three of them! 

Nom! Nom! Nom!

To play along in the Inky Paws Challenge #23 - Summer Lovin', I used stamps from the Shark Bites set from Newton's Nook Designs.  I sent the card to a good friend vacationing in North Carolina not too far from where the shark attacks have occurred in recent weeks. I hope it serves as a reminder to stay out of the water!  

I Chews You!

When I watched Jennifer McGuire's tutorial on how to make a clear shaker card, I fell in love and had to try too. So I pulled out my fuse tool and set to work.  The front of the card was created using one of the adorable labs from Newton's Nook Designs, Fetching Friendship stamp set.  I attached the sentiment to the back of the front panel to hide the telltale signs of using copics! Such a fun and different way to create a card!

It's Only a Birthday...Don't be a Scaredy Cat!

To create today's card, I used Scaredy Spinner from Art Impressions! The stamp comes with excellent directions, that even I could follow!

Just Chicken In

It's Friday and I'm Just Chicken In! I used stamps from the Twelve Days and the 12 Days Companion Greetings sets by Julie Ebersole and available at Ellen Hutson!

I've never met a puppy that I could resist especially Cute Puppy from Bugaboo Digital Stamps!

Calories Don't Count in the Summer!

I'm so glad I get to play along in From the Heart's Digital Stamp of the Month Challenge for July since I participated in June! This month's super fun image is Inter Tube Birdbrain along with several fun sentiments! I sure hope there are no sharks in the water!

Happy Summer

Time for me to play in the Lawnscaping Challenge - Sparkle and Shine. To create my card I used Tag You're It and Puffy Cloud Borders Lawn Cuts, and the super adorable Happy Summer stamp set, featuring ants and watermelon from Lawn Fawn! Every summer I have an ongoing war with black ants and at the moment, I'm ahead in the battle. I've discovered by sitting the cat's bowl of food in a dish filled with water, the ants cannot get to the food. However, if I place something on the counter that I plan to cook, all bets are off and an battalion of ants appear. My answer, no cooking, easy!

Heads Up

I signed up for the Be Inspired Cards class focused solely on Newton's Nook Designs' May and June releases.  After watching one of the videos I came up with two cards using the lettuce image from the Vegetable Medley stamp set. The first one was done using distress markers and the second card was done using colored pencils.  Lettuce us not discuss my coloring skills!

Fetch-ing You a Happy Birthday

My card today features Fetching Friendship from Newton's Nook Designs. I wanted to play along in the Inky Paws Challenge #22 - Birthday, and besides, I always need a cute pup to wish someone a happy birthday!
