I Love You

Today's card I made to play along in the Lawnscaping Sending Love Challenge, use hearts or love sentiment. I think I have both requirements covered. To create my card I used the Scripty Sayings stamp set for the sentiment along with Small Stitched Rectangle Stackables, Hearts, Stitched Journaling Card, and Stitched Scalloped Borders Lawn Cuts.  Hearts and love, perfect valentine!

Love is a Four-Legged Word

I made today's card to play along in the Inky Paws Challenge #28 - Love Theme. To create the card I used stamps from the Newton's Antics and Fetching Friendship sets from Newton's Nook Designs.  The perfect Valentine for animal lovers.

Whale You Be Mine?

Just a quick fly by to let you know I am alive and well and survived the blizzard of 2016! According to the National Weather Service, it is the largest snowfall on record for our town since they started recording amounts. Well gee, that's great but could we go back to the normal dustings or a couple inches of snow at a time that we're used to!

Below is a picture of my picnic table taken around 10:30 yesterday morning, Saturday, January 23, 2016. We continued to have a steady snowfall well into the evening!  With so much snow it was difficult for this senior with 3 beautiful senior goldens and one much smaller cockapoo to manage potty breaks. But I managed to clean a very small area for them and they were happy going outside one at a time to do what they had to and then making a mad dash back into the house.  Henry, our silly cat, was totally fed up and ticked off so he spent his time doing what he does best, sleeping!

And now the clean up begins!

Bugs and Kisses

Happy Valentine's Day! My card today features the adorable Bugs and Kisses from Lawn Fawn. I used three pieces of plastic to create the jar, one for the outside and one on the inside for the ladybugs to crawl on and the third pieces was used for the back of the jar.

Love You Mice

My card today features Love You Mice that I purchased from Whimsy Stamps before they closed their digi store.  I am not a fan of mice except pictures of them!

Jolly Critters

I love this little puppy from Penny Black's Jolly Critters stamp set but since the set was Christmas oriented and the puppy was looking up at a stocking with a present by its feet, I decided to do a little stamp surgery and free him from the holiday ornaments so he could admire a valentine instead.  I plan to enter my card in Penny Black Saturday Challenge for February: hearts!

Whale You Be Mine?

The current Lawnscaping Challenge is to create a background with stamps. To play along I used Chevron Backdrops for the background and then I used stamps from Whale You Be Mine to create my ocean scene.  As finishing touches, I used the hearts from the Stitched Journaling Card Lawn Cuts and Coral Single Cord Lawn Trimmings.

I'll Never Forget You

Happy Valentine's Day one and all!  I hope your day is filled with sweetness and love and maybe a crafty treat or two! For my card today I used the lovable I'll Never Forget You, from Just Inklined to wish you all the very best!

To create this card, I used a dollar stamp from the craft store and a die from Simon Says Stamps Valentine release.

Hmmm? Could it be Santa with a shave and a hair cut? Today's valentine features stamps from Furry Kisses that I got last year and the lips are from the dollar bin at one of the craft stores that I've had for years. When it comes to my crafting goodies, I keep it all!
