Since it's Monday it must be time for a new challenge at Squigglefly however that is not the case! Instead we are still celebrating the holidays but that doesn't mean I can't keep my fingers limber while coloring Devotion, from one of Squigglefly's amazing artists, Lynne Stansbery!

Christmas Eve 2012

Finally it's Christmas Eve and I must report that I received a video from Santa and he said I hadn't been very good this year! While I disagree with Santa, I'm not going to argue with him so today,  I am busy, busy behaving! If you have any influence with the jolly man in the red suit, please tell him that I am an exemplary example of what is good!

Rescue Squad

Hmm, it's the day before the night before Christmas and the news isn't good! Santa sent an email to all members of the ski patrol asking that they report back to him with a snow report as quickly as possible! Seems the lack of snow is a real dilemma for Santa since the reindeer have no sense of direction when the weather is clear and there's no snow! Dr. Digi's House of Stamps immediately dispatched Rescue Squad to the local slopes and sadly, there's nary a flake! But no fear, Santa does have an alternate plan, Christmas will be delayed until Mother Nature decides to cooperate and we have snow!

Better Not Pout Santa

I was shocked when I looked at the calendar and discovered that a week from today is Christmas Eve! How did that happen? Wasn't Thanksgiving just last week? Nevertheless, a week from today is Christmas Eve and with that thought in mind now is the time to be extra, extra good! My card today features Better Not Pout Santa from Squigglefly's fabulous artist, Cheryl Alger! It's my inspiration for the new anything goes with a sentiment challenge that starts today at Squigglefly and hosted by Holley's Hobbyists. Use a Squigglefly image to be eligible to win. Pud Overload

It's a good thing that Christmas comes but once a year, I don't think we could stand the stress of all the preparations, not to mention the making and eating of the rich goodies that are served for the celebration. The second reason is because folks like Pud Overload from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, who can't say no, would certainly explode if one more bite of Christmas pudding is eaten! But from the look on Pud's face, I think we need to clear the decks and get out of the way of the soon-to-be kaboom!

Time is getting short so today's card features another Christmas card to make in a jiffy complete with elegance and simplicity. Start with Autumn Hay Glimmer cardstock as the base and use your favorite Christmas dies with Laser Gold Glossy Lustre cardstock. The cardstock is available from The PaperTemptress!

Santa Chimney

There are so many wonderful Just Inklined images that are only available on The Best of Just Inklined 2012 CD ROM such as this fun image, Santa Chimney! For those of you with a faint heart, even though Santa is high on the rooftop, he is very surefooted and safely makes it down and up the chimney without injury. Santa also carries a magic dust brush he uses to keep his red suit sparkly and clean! 

Winkies Snowday Wishes

I enjoy creating with images from Sassy Cheryl's Digis and for today's card I used Winkies Snowday Wishes! His cheeky grin is very distracting and makes me wonder what he's wishing for or maybe he knows what's waiting for me in a particular box that I cannot open until Christmas Day! I can never pass on a digi that makes me laugh and Fairdysnowy from Teddy Bo & Co., did just that! I hope the recipient will get a giggle too!

Wow, the closer we get to Christmas, the faster the days seem to be flying by, before you know it, it will be a New Year! Figure Eight Snowman

The new Squigglefly challenge that starts today is hosted by Rhonda's Rowdy Rascals and the challenge is to use red and green! I thought I'd play along and used Cheryl Alger's sweet Figure Eight Snowman, one of the many snow people available at Squigglefly! Isn't it remarkable that a snowman can write on ice with its skates!

X Files X Mas

It's amazing how Santa manages to get to everybody's house on Christmas Eve thanks to his amazing reindeers! This year each of the reindeer will be wearing GPS's, a little gift from Mrs. Claus in the hopes of streamlining Santa's trip.  But in all the centuries that Santa has been circling the globe, he's not missed a house yet not even in Area 51 which according to Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, likes a little festive cheer otherwise, X Files X Mas would not be wearing a Santa hat and filling his belly with another candy cane!

Joy to the World

Another Christmas card completed. This one has a masculine touch for someone very special! 

Scrooge in Bed

Today's card is a snapshot of Scrooge in Bed, from the Best of Just Inklined 2012 CD ROM. We all know that in a short time, Scrooge went from being a nonbeliever to a believer thanks to the help of the three pesky Christmas spirits, past, present, and future. But what the story leaves out is that each Christmas Eve, Scrooge pens a lovely letter to Santa and puts out a glass of wine and a cupcake for his pleasure. One can only guess who will use the chamberpot!

I've been productive! I used Sweet November Adorn D. Yard from All that Scraps for today's card. Another card for the holidays to add to the pile!

Lady Gnome

I thought I would take a little break from Christmas to share Lady Gnome, a cute image from the newest artist to join the Squigglefly family, Elizabeta Kusher! The sentiment, "Oh gnome, you didn't" is one of a set of eight from the Gnome Sentiment Set, sold separately from the image. The proceeds from the sale of Ms. Kusher's art is given to The Traveler, a non-profit, non-governmental organization headquartered in Croatia founded to promote art, traditional values and culture.

Just Inklined to Hop

For my card I used Just Inklined's stunning Fir Balls and printed it directly onto beautiful background paper created by Jak Heath and can be found here.

Naughty or Nice

Although Mrs. Claus is just as sweet as Santa and always has fresh baked cookies ready to be taste tested by Santa and the elves, she does insist that they help to keep the house clean and tidy. So it should not come as a surprise to you that she does get provoked with Santa when the mailbags overflowing with letters from children, pleading their case as to where to be placed on Santa's Naughty or Nice list, start arriving! But Santa, from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, just smiles and goes about his work because he knows that Mrs. Claus is at the top of his nice list and she's getting socks, underwear and a new vacuum cleaner for Christmas!

All Lit Up

Happy first day of December! Can you believe it, I sure can't but now the serious business of preparing for the holidays begins, shopping (spending $$), decorating (ugh, emptying all those boxes), sending Christmas greeting (maybe by Valentine's Day), baking cookies (doubtful) and most importantly, P-A-R-T-Y-I-N-G (definitely)! And that brings me to today's card, All Lit Up by Fawn Palmer, one of the many new images being released today at Squigglefly! The inside of the card says, "Let's get lit!" and both sentiments come with the fun and shiny image!
