Derek and Deirdery Dunderton

Notice the mismatched expressions Derek and Deirdery Dunderton from Doctor Digi's House of Stamps have on their faces? Well, it's a very sad story but Derek is feeling a little befuddled and quite frankly miffed! Deirdery, on the other hand, is feeling quite pleased! As it turns out, Derek won a roundtrip, all expenses, paid cruise around the islands. Naturally Derek shared his happy news with Deirdery, omitting the fact that he would be traveling with the entire womens' volleyball league. Deirdery agreed that the trip would be good for Derek since he was looking a little tired and pinched, and in his absence, she would spend time with her mother. Derek went to sleep that night a very happy chap.  Image his shock, horror and dismay when Deirdery explained during dinner the following evening that she had persuaded the cruise line to change Derek's ticket to the voyage the ladies' quilting guild was taking to the Arctic and that Deirdery and her mother would be traveling with him!  Somedays it doesn't pay to get out of bed.
