Seriously, I see a golden retriever and my heart literally smiles, they are such sweet souls. Naturally when I saw "Golden on Guard" at
Justinklined, it was mine! Goldens provide us with many things but you never think of them as guard dogs, trust me, if necessary, they could and they would do serious damage to protect their human. Living with seven goldens in my lifetime has left me with little doubt that each and everyone of them would lay down their life for me and for mine.

ReplyDeleteSo sweet, I lived with a Golden once. His idea of guarding his humans was to jump on strangers and lick them to death. He could beat them with his tail that was constantly wagging. I miss Newman.
