It is hard to believe that two weeks have passed and the time has come for a new challenge at Can You Digi It! The challenge for the next two weeks is Pretty as a Peacock. I used Kini Arts - Dolly Llama, available at Can You Digi It for my card and after much playing around, I decided to stay with the color peacock blue for the background. I can tell you that distress inks will color white feathers, just a fun fact! And speaking of fun facts, I thought you'd be interested to know that llamas weigh between 280 to 450 pounds and get that big as strict vegetarians! Llamas are social animals and prefer to live in packs and they make wonderful guard animals even for geese and ducks! Llamas do not bit instead they spit but you have time to get out of the way because they will hum first. Now aren't you glad you visited today!
Be sure to stop by and see what the other It Girls have created and then join the fun for a chance to win a $10 gift certificate to Can You Digi It!
Love your Fabulous card Tammy,a great image.xxx
ReplyDeleteCute card Tammy, and to add to your fun fact....they are not particular when they spit. When my granddaughter was very young, a lama spewed all over her, and it was eating at the time. This was at the zoo. She has kept her distance ever since!

Great card- I love the blue color. My Aunt Margie lives next door to a Llama farm- we have gone to visit briefly when we were there visiting- we did not hear about the humming or spitting though- guess we got lucky!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the Llamas are courteous enough to give you a humming warning! This is a sweet card!
