Cat Lady

I'm starting to think of myself just like this zany Cat Lady image from Just Inklined, too many cats! Recently our neighborhood seems to be the dumping ground for unwanted cats and since I cannot bear to see an animal starve to death, they migrate to my porch for food and water. As long as the cats remain on the front porch and only long enough to eat and drink, and they do not go into their backyard, my goldens are okay with sharing our home!

One stray cat has not found its way to my house but obviously, it is keeping warm on the roof of a nearby neighbor's garage. The ingenuity of animals always amazes me and we think we're smarter!

  3. What a cute image! I do like the just inked images. They're my style (Cartoony, animals)... And that ribbon is really cute.
My friend does a lot of rescue work for cats (an organization called CATS IN NEED). She has fostered and tried to place so many cats.
I imagine in your area, it's so cold. How do the cats survive at night??? Amazes me.

Well, You may consider yourself the cat lady but-- to many cats, you're probably the angel on the porch!!!

we have alot of strays here too because we're surrounded by farms. however, anything over 2 pets we have to pay $25 more on our lot rent for. needless to say, not many pets around here.

  18. This card would be perfect for my mom - she feeds about 20 - 30 feral cats on her front porch too (twice a day). Love your little embellishments too.

  19. Oh I do like this card Tammy, I used this image for a commissioned birthday card at Christmas, like you the person always seems to be feeding everyone's cat's, stray or not, lol. They have a female cat and she does let them know whose boss. The colours you have used for the card are perfect and what a beautiful picture of that cat, awwwww, it is so nice to know they have someone to look out for them.
