I must confess that I did not come up with the idea for today's on my own but from someone in blogland. I apologize that I do not know the name of that person. For my card, I cut two circles from a piece of transparency that I swiped from clear stamps. I used droplets of different colored alcohol ink and a few drops of glossy accents on the transparencies and created a sandwich with the second piece of transparency and squished it together blending the colors. After I made the sandwich, I stamped an image on top. I cut a third circle out of Cryogen white cardstock and stamped a background that I distressed and using a few drops of glossy accents adhered it to the back of the transparencies. To finish the card, I mounted the three sandwiched circles on Sunshine Yellow cardstock and topped it off with a black embossed butterfly on Cryogen white cardstock and colored with more alcohol ink. I hope my description doesn't sound difficult or confusing. It was rather simple to make and I hope you to give it a try. All the cardstock used in my card is from PaperTemptress.
