Bonibleaux Designs has stopped by to tell you why it is that we associate pirates with rum. The answer is rather simple. Back in the heyday of pirates, "kil devil" a byproduct of processed sugar cane, was used by the Caribbean captains because it was cheap. A small amount was normally added to the water to kill algae and to enhance the taste. See, I told you it was simple.
If I win "Who wants to be a Millionaire" with your Rum info Tammy then I am most definitely coming to visit.
