Jelly Bug

Time for the Spa

Happy Monday, its time for a new Squigglefly Challenge! This week Ronda's Rowdy Rascals are the hosts and the challenge is Odd Man Out - make a card that uses elements or images in odd numbers! Although it's not my team's turn, I decided to play along using Time for the Spa from Squigglefly's wonderful artist, Lynne Stansbery! Your turn to play along but to win the challenge you must use a Squigglefly image and if by chance you don't have one, try one of their many freebies found here!

Svetlana and Cyril

Looks can be deceiving especially when it comes to Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' odd couple, Svetlana and Cyril! They met as struggling actors who would appear in public with proper makeup and costumes to rehearse for upcoming parts! They were so convincing, Cyril would get senior citizen discounts and Svetlana, as his nurse, received free food and admittance to various functions and amusements.  With all the savings, they live comfortably in a lavish home unbeknownst to their friends and neighbors that their real occupation is that of con-artist!

Wind Flower

With the exception of the Bubblegum Pop Tones 65# cardstock tag, the card is made with Cryogen White cardstock from the PaperTemptress! A light misting of perfect pearls was applied to the background.  I colored the Wind Flowers from Janey's Digi Designs with gelatos and used different shades of yellow puffy paint for the center.  I've said it before and I'll say it again,  Cryogen White cardstock is perfect for any of your coloring needs! 

Wizzbook

As graduation time approaches, I turned to Wizzbook from Just Inklined to inspire a young graduate and to serve as a reminder that an adventure is waiting, all they must do is open the door!

Party Pig Trio

I thought after yesterday's shocking card, I better post one that is more low-key! The image, Party Pig Trio is from Bugaboo Digi Stamps! I'm not sure where I got the sentiment?

X-Rated, Almost!

One of my lovely daughters is having a birthday today! Since she's not excited about adding another year, I thought I'd give her a surprise! For her card, I used Special Delivery from Redonkulous Designs! Just like adding years, it starts out slowly and then picks up speed! Happy Birthday dear daughter!

Polly Swims in the Tub

Welcome to a new Squigglefly Challenge and this week, Holley's Hobbyists are your hosts for April Showers Bring May Flowers!  You have two choices, show your showers or water theme or go with May flowers and use a flower image, embellishment, or in the sentiment! For my card I went with the water theme and used the adorable Polly Swims in the Tub by Cheryl Alger, one of Squigglefly's fabulous artists! Gardening Gus

Well now, doesn't Gardening Gus from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps have a smug expression across his face! Tomorrow is his wife's birthday and each year she complains because he always forgets and has no gift to celebrate the occasion! His wise old-bird of a mother-in-law was determined that this year her daughter would not be disappointed and sent Gus a letter to remind him! So early in the morning of the big day, Gus snuck into his neighbor's yard, dug up a prized glori-fat-coleus and transplanted it into a container to present to the birthday girl! Won't she be pleased, do you think she'll be upset he forgot a card?

Hyacinth (1)

Grandpa and Me

Today's card features Grandpa and Me, another terrific image that can only be found on The Best of Just Inklined 2012 CD ROM. Regardless of the occasion, you will find something special on the CD perfect for the event!

It's a Circus Out There

I recently HAD to go to our local craft shop to get supplies such as tape, pop dots and clear embossing powder. When I got home and emptied the bag, what a surprise to find new stamps!

Style of Love

Never at a loss as to what to buy myself for Christmas, last December I decided I wanted a gift that would keep on giving! So I decided the answer was the monthly Simon Says Stamp Card Kits! I must say that I am very pleased with the decision and each month when the package arrives, I say Merry Christmas! For today's card I used some of the goodies found in February's kit, Style of Love!
