Fairy Grand-ma

Since Thanksgiving was yesterday, Christmas shopping and decorating has now officially begun, not to mention that Christmas is exactly one month from today. As a mother of five children and "glam-ma" to five grandchildren, I struggle with what to give each one for Christmas. This year, I have decided to do exactly what Fairy Grand-ma from Just Inklined has done. I'm going to wrap myself in a pretty box, tie it with a ribbon and wait patiently under their trees for Christmas morning! Won't they all be surprised! Now to figure out the logistics of being in many places at once and to find my tutu, fairy wings and wand?

    I always love your stories!

    This 'grandma' is trying so hard to grant those wishes, I'm sure! I am thinking that full size cardboard dugouts might be the way to go for you....think of the coloring possibilities, or paper piecing possibilities!!

    LOL, I would love to see anyone try this for Christmas Tammy. The image is fabulous, its so fun even down to the slippers and I love the way you have glammed up your card, particularly the gold pearl chain.

    Good luck with your gift giving Tammy. I am sure they will be delighted and amazed if you pull it off. May I suggest your immediatly begin singing - "I believe I can fly " BUT only test your abilities while standing on something VERY low. I am sure your family will not enjoy visiting the ER.

    LOL! I love the idea of you wrapping and giving yourself. And the image memorializes that image.
    I have long given up on the gift giving thing except for a few people. My nephews can expect a donation on their behalf to a child that has less than they do. (I'm NOT a favorite aunt).

    You crack me up, Tammy...I can just picture you with the tutu, wings, and wand!! It might be safer for you to get a few Walmart gift cards rather than sit in a box for a few weeks...not fun!!! You card is adorable....love your coloring and how you added the beads and ribbon!!!
