Back in the dark ages, I attempted to play golf. The more I played the game, the more I realized that I did not enjoy playing. I could not get the rationale of the number of the club in relationship to its use. I would much rather play basketball where there is one large ball, one fair sized target and the object was to keep bouncing the ball until you could make a shot. But I have a lot of friends that are avid golfers and I admire their tenacity to beat up on one tiny ball.
KennyK Downloads is our sponsor for the challenge starting today at Stamping with the Dragon and he has provide the design team with several images. I selected the Golfer to illustrate the "Sports" theme for the challenge. There will be four winners! KennyK Downloads is providing three digis for the first prize, second prize receives two digis and third place wins one digi. And don't forget that someone will become a guest design team member of Stamping Dragon Designs.

ReplyDeleteFab card and like you I so don't get the game, but then I guess that most of the population don't get paper and glue!! xx
ReplyDeleteParfectly coloured and I love how you embossed the golf balls!
ReplyDeleteSome would think we talk about what we're going to do ahead of time. Love your rendition of the golfer too. Love the embossed golf balls.
ReplyDeleteOMG...I always thought that taking the club (didnt matter which one) and trying to hit the ball of a small peg was suppose to be the most relaxing thing too do......BUT I have news for you.....ITS NOT!!! LOL! I never got the game or why people love playing it. Then again you do get to drive the carts from hole to hole. Maybe thats the reason. LOL!

ReplyDeleteAdorable card - PERFECT coloring! I cannot get into golf. I even swear when I play mini golf...heehee.
ReplyDeleteI loved playing golf. I found it so relaxing and it drove me nuts at the same time. I was always trying for the hole in one. A tumble from the attic put a fast end to my golfing, but I sure found another hobby to take its place. Ha Ha Those golf balls are awesome, size and placement. Love the play on words for the sentiment too.
ReplyDeleteLove the expression on this adorable image and love how you added the balls, grass and the sentiment on the cloud is sooo clever!!! I'm with you on the golf thing....I had to take it in college. We arrived for our final in 105 degree weather and the instructor told us to go home...we all got an A for showing up...still can't hit the ball...LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteTammy, I totally agree with you when it comes to golf! I love that he is controlling that 1 ball and the holes in them were a brilliant addition. Great job!
ReplyDeleteHow cute and clever! Love how you made the golf balls! =)
